The company is now looking for a Field Product Marketing Manager to be based in Oslo, Norway, who will drive the commercial and technical success of Eaton’s product portfolio within the Nordic region.
Job description
As a Field Product Marketing Manager, for low voltage and power distribution products, you will drive the lifecycle of your local product portfolio in close collaboration with product managers and Eaton’s local sales team. You are responsible for the portfolio’s commercial success within your geographic area.
You will collect and analyze local market insights, Voice of Customer (VoC) feedback, and regulatory requirements to support product development, portfolio adjustments, and localized marketing campaigns. You will also represent Eaton in standards committees and coordinate certification of localized products.
As the go-to expert for your portfolio, you will translate technical features into clear commercial messaging and support both sales and marketing initiatives. This position is part of the EMEA Field Product Marketing organization, providing collaboration with colleagues across the region and insight into technical and strategic decision-making. The role requires flexibility, with up to 40% travel within your geographic area (The Nordics).
Key Responsibilities:
Drive the local product lifecycle, including pricing strategy and portfolio adjustments
Analyze market trends, customer insights (VoC), and regulatory requirements, including market and product gap analyses
Tailor and deliver training and support for sales teams and partners
Support sales teams with product strategy and localized marketing campaigns
Coordinate local product certifications and represent Eaton in standards committees and industry organizations
Education, experience and personal qualities
We are looking for a senior professional with a strong technical and commercial background, ideally with experience in Low and Medium Voltage Power Distribution products or similar. You have a solid understanding of the Nordic market, sales channels, and competitive landscape, and are confident working with both technical product details and business strategy, including revenue forecasting, KPIs, budgeting, and pricing.
You are self-driven, motivated, and passionate about delivering results, with excellent presentation and communication skills in both Norwegian and English. You are structured, proactive, and enjoy coordinating across multiple teams, translating technical features into commercial value, and building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. The role involves travel within your geographic area and occasional EMEA travel.
Key qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in technical studies and/or marketing
Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical or marketing-related role within Low Voltage and Medium Voltage Power Distribution products
Experience with digital marketing and demand generation campaigns
Advanced knowledge of electrical products and fundamentals of electricity (EN standards and Life Safety Codes are an advantage)
Fluency in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken, is required
